What is dynamic pricing?

JSC "FPC" applies in its work the principle of dynamic pricing, which consists in certain rules for calculating the cost of tickets; an exception is made only for some trains of social significance.

What is the peculiarity of calculating the cost of tickets?

The main condition: with a large demand and a decrease in the number of seats, the cost of tickets increases. Conversely, if there is insufficient demand or the sale of tickets by competitive companies at sufficiently low fares, the minimum prices are valid until the day of departure of the train.

A tariff plan has been developed for each railway route. The cost of tickets may vary depending on the season, the number of traffic and the days of the week. Sometimes the initial fare of compartment cars is quite a bit different from the fare of reserved seats.

At the start of sales, passengers are guaranteed to purchase tickets at the lowest possible fare for a particular destination. In the future, the cost increases in proportion to the filling of seats in the cars, as well as with increased demand for certain dates. When returning tickets, the tariffs corresponding to the cost of tickets at the time of purchase are applied.

Passengers have already appreciated the advantages of the dynamic pricing program, since now everyone can choose the optimal fare, allowing them to calculate financial opportunities and plan a trip accordingly. A more flexible pricing system allows travelers to significantly reduce travel costs.

Plan your vacation and buy tickets in advance at the lowest prices!
