Electronic registration: what is it and why is it convenient?

The electronic registration service was created to increase the comfort level of people. After registering online, when boarding the train, you only need to show the boarding pass along with the relevant documents. Upon completion of payment for tickets with simultaneous registration, both control and boarding passes are sent to the buyer's e-mail immediately; they can be presented to the conductor on a tablet (smartphone), if desired, printed out.

Electronic registration is not performed when special documents are required, for example, for the transportation of animals traveling in the luggage compartment, or if necessary, to send luggage. 

Electronic registration is not publicly available, so you should be careful in the process of forming an order. When there is an ER sign, registration is carried out automatically, without requiring auxiliary actions. 

IT is NOT allowed at the end of the electronic registration:

  • those who are late for their flight to exchange a ticket or restore its validity when a person is behind the train;
  • issue boarding passes less than an hour before the departure of the train from the starting point of the route.

Is it possible to reject electronic registration?

It is allowed to issue a refusal at any time, but no later than an hour before the train leaves for the route. Users registered on the site can opt out using their Personal Account, the rest through the "My Order" service, as well as by receiving a boarding pass at the ticket sales desk or self-service terminal. With this approach, you will need to show the boarding pass to the conductor.

There is no electronic registration on trains going to Kaliningrad, Kaliningrad region and back.
