What do I need to board a train with an electronic ticket?
Upon completion of the payment for online tickets, a control coupon is sent to the customer's mail, which is a file containing the booking number and the ticket number itself, numbering fourteen digits. When the order consists of 1 ticket, the numbers are the same. In a different situation, when purchasing tickets for several people, the booking number is identical to the ticket number of the person recorded first.
According to the Order of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation No. 322 dated 08/21/2012 On the Establishment of Forms of Electronic Travel Documents (Tickets) on Railway Transport, the control coupon is a document of strict accountability, but does not replace the ticket. The conductor will need to show the boarding pass.
There are 2 ways to get such a coupon:
- Go to the ticket office, call your ticket number, as an option, show a control coupon; get a ticket.
- Independently — through the terminal.
The boarding pass is submitted to the conductor for verification at the same time as the passport. Moving around the Russian regions together with preschoolers and teenagers up to 14 years old, it is enough to have a copy of the birth certificate signed by a notary, instead of the original document.

Getting a boarding coupon on a travel document form
Such a coupon is issued to people who do not have electronic registration and only at Russian stations. It is acquired:

Cashiers do not serve customers during a technical break from 3.30 am to 4.00 pm Moscow time.
For travelers on routes of international destinations, forms are issued exclusively at railway stations of the Russian Federation upon application to international ticket offices. Independently in the terminal, it is possible to take a coupon only for trains in the direction of Russia & mdash; Finland.
It should be remembered that if the surname or passport data differ from the information listed in the ticket, this person will NOT be put on the train, therefore, it is not worth reselling your ticket to another person.
