Branded double-decker train "Northern Palmyra": a rebirth.

Many sources are silent about when the signature composition of "Northern Palmyra" appeared. In the summer of 2002, the train running between St. Petersburg and Adler received a rebirth, and a year later the cars were completely renovated. From St. Petersburg, the train numbered 35A /35B departs from Moskovsky railway station at 20:25 minutes and arrives at the final station at 9:55. In the opposite direction, the train number 36A/36C departs from the Adler railway station at 17:32 and arrives in the Northern Capital at 07:45. The train covers a distance of 2,444 kilometers. The journey time to Adler is 37 hours 30 minutes, in the opposite direction 38 hours 8 minutes.

Along the route "Northern Palmyra" makes more than 20 stops. Including in the largest cities of Tver, Ryazan, Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Sochi. Most of the stops are very short. Please note that this train passes through Moscow, but does not make a stop there.

The train layout may vary depending on the time of year and the demand for the train, but classically it has a restaurant car, sleeping and compartment cars. The carriages consist of four-person or two-person isolated compartments located on two floors. Three toilets are located on the first floor of a double-decker car. Also, each car has air conditioning and heating systems. A convenient staircase with handrails is installed to climb to the second floor, and an electronic card is installed to enter the compartment.
