Branded train "Ulyanovsk": the business card of Ulyanovsk and Mari El.

The history of the Ulyanovsk train began on December 15, 1993. The branded high-speed train runs between St. Petersburg and Moscow under the number No. 021Y/022Y. In 2006, for several months, the "branded" was lost due to an impolite conductor and a conflict with the mourners. But the recertification quickly returned the status, and the employee was dismissed. An interesting fact is that these few months the prices for the train were several times lower than usual and compared to other trains plying a similar route. Since 2011, Ulyanovsk has been combined with the schedule of the company train No. 57/58 Yoshkar-Ola, which also departs daily to the capital. That is why now the composition is called the business card of the city of Ulyanovsk and the Republic of Mari El.

The train makes regular flights daily throughout the year, traveling 873 kilometers in both directions. Like all branded compositions, it is nocturnal, so that travelers who have had a good night's sleep will be in Moscow in the morning. The train passes in 13-14 hours through such cities as Ryazan, Sasovo and Inza. Every day the train departs from the city of Ulyanovsk at 19:40. Passengers arrive in the capital of our Motherland at 9:30, the travel time is 13 hours and 50 minutes. The train travels in the opposite direction for 14 hours and 12 minutes. On the Yoshkar-Ola-Moscow route, the branded train departs at 19:26, arrives in the capital at 9:00. The trip will take 13 hours and 34 minutes.

The maximum number of cars in the train is seventeen. The train layout varies depending on seasonality and demand. It includes a restaurant car, reserved cars for 52 seats, compartment cars for 36 seats and SV cars for 18 seats. There are also 2 seats in a special carriage for people with disabilities and their accompanying persons. The exact scheme can always be traced before buying tickets. The numbering of the cars begins with the "head" of the train when departing from Ulyanovsk, with the "tail" of the train when departing from Moscow.

All cars are made according to new standards: plastic windows are installed, there are air conditioners and toilets, sockets and an electronic scoreboard for informing passengers on the road.
