From February 17, residents and guests of the capital can travel to the Crimea on a special tourist train. The excursion route is organized by the company "Grand Service Express" together with the tour operator "Grand Express Tour". The journey starts on Thursday at 22:30. The train departs from the Kazan railway station. Passengers on the way will be able to see the sights of Voronezh, Taman, Sevastopol, Yevpatoria, Simferopol, Feodosia, Kerch, Rostov-on-Don. At each of the stops, tourists will have a sightseeing tour, a visit to wineries, estates, cultural and architectural monuments, a lot of new acquaintances and interesting moments. Excursions and meals are already included in the price of the tour. Traveling in compartment cars will cost a tourist 56 thousand rubles, and in cars of the SV type - 74 thousand rubles. The route is valid until May 19, 2022.
- During the New Year holidays, 55 million passengers of long-distance trains used the services of JSC "Russian Railways", which exceeds the indicator of the same period last year by 31%. The largest increase in passenger traffic was recorded on December 30 and January 8. The Russian Railways company was ready for such a load, therefore, 550 additional trains went on flights during peak loads. The most popular routes were supplemented with cars totaling 169 pieces. Thanks to such measures, it was possible to meet the demand for transportation on holidays. The pandemic has not prevented people from relaxing and traveling. Passenger traffic not only reached the pre-pandemic level, but also exceeded it. On some routes – twice. The occupancy rate of some trains during the New Year holidays reached 100%. Special tourist routes were especially popular.
- JSC «AK «Railway » reported a twofold increase in passenger traffic. This means that residents of Yakutsk and central uluses began to prefer rail transport to another. Tickets began to be bought more often through online services. The optimization of routes also contributed to the growth of passenger traffic. Now the passenger train Nizhny Bestyakh – Tynda departs daily. The issue of crossing the river from Yakutsk to the Nizhny Bestyakh station has been resolved. The train includes non-stop carriages to Irkutsk, Blagoveshchensk, Vladivostok.
- Double-decker trains now run from Moscow to Togliatti. The Russian Railways Holding, as part of the expansion of the route network, launches a double-decker train in this direction in February. It is expected that this will contribute to the improvement of interregional transport links. The specified route will be daily. An increase in the number of passenger seats will make it possible to reduce the fare by 30%. Ticket sales are already open.

- JSC «AK «ZHDYA » launches a new customer support service. Now, in the phone call mode, customers can get information about the location of the cargo, order a preliminary calculation of the cost of transportation and the transportation itself, get other information related to the transportation of goods. The service operates on weekdays from 8:00 to 17:00. It is expected that such a service will help improve the quality of service and promptly solve any customer problem.
- The cost of tickets for the train "Sapsan" in the period from February 27 to March 7 will remain fixed. It is no longer affected by either demand or the number of days before the trip. You can apply for travel documents at long-distance ticket offices, on the official website of Russian Railways or through a mobile application. There are 7 categories of seats.
- Congratulations on the 70th anniversary on behalf of V. V. Shimokhin were sent to Gavril Nikolaevich Adamov, Honorary employee of the railway transport of the Sakha Republic. The personal and professional qualities of the birthday boy, his merits in the construction of BAM and the development of the railway industry of Yakutia as a whole were noted.
