The renovation of old railway stations at small stations in the Novosibirsk region continues. It's nice when small buildings are not categorically rebuilt, but try to fit in innovations while maintaining the appearance or at least the style.
So the compact station building at the Chany station has acquired modern equipment and a bright modern image, thanks to a large-scale reconstruction, which ended this year.
The station complex was inaugurated on the twenty-second of October and for more than a month residents have been using modern innovations and amenities.
The porch and the tower with a large clock perfectly fit into the overall design, increasing the total area. And besides, there are convenient ramps with railings for low-mobility groups of the population. Now they will not have any difficulties in moving, and passengers with heavy luggage will be able to freely bring their suitcases into the station building and onto the platform. The latter has also been updated a bit. The new wagon navigation system will finally get rid of the problem of finding the right car and wandering around the entire platform.
Now you can easily find information on touch information screens throughout the complex, and a dynamic electronic scoreboard will allow you not to miss the arrival of the desired train, where all the necessary information is displayed. Tickets can also be printed independently in special terminals. An additional ticket office on the ground floor allows you to purchase tickets for suburban bus routes.
All station systems have been replaced. New electrics, fire extinguishing and security systems, as well as sewage and water supply systems. Ventilation and air conditioning system have been updated.
The total area of the complex is now five hundred and eighty-five squares larger than the previous one. There is a place for everyone. Moreover, the comfort has increased significantly. Charge your mobile phone at the charging stand or relax in the rest areas. Now it is not only convenient for groups with limited mobility to get into the territory, but also quite comfortable to feel inside - lowered counters in the ticket office, an elevator, equipped places for rest and a bathroom. For visually impaired passengers, tactile markings are applied.
The authorities of the West Siberian Railway, represented by Alexander Gritsai, came to open new Vats, and the governor of the Novosibirsk Region, Andrey Travnikov, was present at the opening. So initially a wooden, and then a small building with variable storeys became a modern railway station complex, and now there is another corner on the Trans-Siberian railway for affordable and comfortable travel by rail.
